Matt's Top 10: "Q&A"

1. Who am I? I’m 23. I’m from Blackfoot Idaho. I’m one of 5 sons (I’m the middle one and the only one that paints).

2. How long have I painted? 7 years.

3. How did I learn? I saw a guy paint in Mexico and taught my self.

4. Do I wear A mask? Yes only when I’m indoors or don’t have a fan to blow the spray away.

5. Do you ever get the paint of your hands? yep soft scrub or paint thinner .

6. How long dose it take to make the paintings? The 11" X 14", about 4 to 15 minutes (the average takes 8 min.) The 22" X 28", about 15 to 40 minutes (the average is 25 min.)It varies depending on detail and if I’m painting something I’m not use to.

7. What supplies do I use? My supplies are lids, news paper, painters knifes and the spray paint cans.

8. Where do I get my supplies? I get my posterboard and spray paint cans from dollar stores, ebay and calstore, local art store for painters knifes.

9. What do I paint on? Mostly posterboard. I've painted shoes, a guitar, trains, houses inside and out, canvas, cars, tire covers, any thing that has a smooth surface. I've painted.

10. Do I travel to paint murals? I don’t mind traveling as long as if its worth it (a large project). If its small it might not be worth it.
