2008 Sundown Salute Headliner: Creedence Clearwater Revisited!

Stu Cook and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford may not have intended it, but their band Creedence Clearwater Revisited has taken on a startling life of its own. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rhythm section (bass and drums respectively) from the legendary group Creedence Clearwater Revival launched the Creedence Clearwater Revisited project in 1995 to once again perform live Creedence Clearwater Revival hits - touchstones of a generation. Though the pair initially only planned to play private parties, Creedence Clearwater Revisited now performs up to 100 shows a year and has released the album "Recollection." Extreme Canines Return!

A huge hit last year, The Perondi's Extreme Canines Show is a hair-raising, spine-tingling, thrilling stunt dog show. Their legacy began back in 1996 with the rescue of our first celebrity dog star, "Pepper". Since then they have produced thousands of shows across the nation and now offer one of the largest novelty, trick, and stunt dog shows in the world. Last year alone they produced over 500 shows in the United States and Canada. The family show is made of numerous professional trainers and canine stars. [read more and view video ]

Boogie Bodies

Boogie 1Finally, here's your chance to show all your friends and family the boogies that's in you and has got to come out! Pick your song and show everyone that you've always been a great dancer!

You didn't have to wait until July 2 to be part of this year's celebrations. This year, we had a special Junction City Crafts Show on May 24 (check out the regional crafters at the show)! It was so successful that next year's Crafts Show is already set for May 30, 2009. Get your application today!.

Most of the events listed on the schedule will take place in Heritage Park, which is at the corner of 6th and Washington streets. Directions to Junction City and Heritage Park.
